Who are we?

We’ve been part of the hospitality and tourism industry for over 10 years. The experience started as entrepreneurs in Tanzania, England and Germany. All this knowledge and the passion for making an unforgettable experience reality for our clients is their solid base. To create a surrounding where employees can use their full potential and prosper their own growth, lets them look with excitement towards the time with unify hospitality and tourism in Tanzania.

Simone grew up surrounded from hospitality. So naturally she stepped in the same shoes and got her first education as a chef at Ratskeller Munich.  Here it opened her the experience door as well as set the base for growth and knowledge. Over the years she found her balance between education and hospitality / tourism sector. A day without a smile is a lost day. With joy and authenticity, she goes towards new opportunities and focus on implementing solutions.

George born and raised in Tanzania started really young aged to develop entrepreneur skills. As the oldest in his family the responsibility did never just revere to him, so he naturally established leadership skills.   • Interest has come from hospitality and tourism industry leaders at different ages and stages of their career. From CEO’s, CSO’s, CTO’s and COO’s to HoD’s, Directors, Business Directors, Leaders in Hotel Chains, Logistics, Software Programs and Marketing Companies.

    All groups return together to open source the solutions discussed in their group for the biggest challenges people are facing in a post 2020 world.

  • Through our network and experiences in the industry we noticed the challenges are similar, developed solutions can benefit all but a safe space to talk has been missing. We are filling this gap. We created a safe, authentic and innovative space to speak to peers and develop long lasting solutions.

  • Attendance is by invitation or refferal only, you’ll either be contacted by UNIFY as a shortlisted candidate for a cohort, put forward by your organisation or referred by a peer.

 The Process

  • 1. Interview

    Your organisation will put forward applicants, we’ll host a 45 minute interview to run through our needs analysis.

    The needs analysis allows us to understand what value their UNIFY Changemakers cohort can bring them based on their individual challenges, goals and what they would like to change in the industry.

  • 2. Placement

    Based on the interview, we’ll place the applicants into the best cohort for their needs and experience.

    They will be notified who is in their UNIFY Changemakers Cohort, the dates of the sessions and the agenda for the first session.

  • 3. Introductory Session

    The first session will give the cohort an opportunity to get to know each other in a personal and meaningful manner, beyond the job titles, everyone will get to know what experiences people have been through that shaped who they are today and how they see the world.

    They will all then get an opportunity to hear and share the biggest challenges they are facing and begin open sourcing solutions.

  • 4. Ongoing Sessions

    The session agendas are focused on sharing personal, professional and industry challenges that are unique to the members of the cohort and open sourcing solutions to these challenges.

    The sessions are held over a 90 minute session, every 6 weeks, online.

UNIFY Hospitality and Tourism Round Tables.

For our round table sessions, some of the most influential people in the hospitality and tourism industry are featured on a series of round tables, run simultaneously, chaired by UNIFY Residents. Each round table dissected the key issues that are causing the major challenges we face as an industry. The table are setting targets for the industry over the next 5 years and creating solutions towards achievement

What happens post round table?

The results of the round tables are shared with all chairs in a separate meeting and plans will be made to turn the solutions into action.

We will keep all guests updated with the progress and how they can be involved.

 

Global Hospitality Certification

Learners will attend sessions preparing them for the examination to receive the global hospitality certification.

Who are these qualifications for?

All experienced or want to experience hospitality and tourism as their source of income.

These qualifications are for Chefs, Baker, Patisserie, Waiter, Receptionist, Housekeeper in entry and leader level. Your experience will be evaluated and taken in account.
